After the Quad Cities saw its first snowfall of the season, the City of Davenport issued a second snow emergency.
The city’s first snow emergency lasted for 24 hours starting Friday, November 20, 2015. It prohibited drivers from parking on Posted Snow Routes.
Davenport’s second snow emergency goes into effect at 10 p.m., Sunday, November 22 and expires at 5 a.m. Monday. This snow emergency is specific to the Downtown and Hilltop Campus area, which includes Harrison Street from Locust Street to River Drive and 5th Street to River Drive between Gaines and River Drive.
Free parking will be available in the city’s parking ramps until Monday, November 23 at 8 a.m.
