Free yoga class: More than 100 yoga teachers and studios will host donation-based classes from November 6 to 15, including a free yoga class open to everyone from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 11 at the Rogalski Center Ballroom at St. Ambrose University. Hooters: Free meal for veterans and active-duty military personnel from a select menu of entrees at all Hooters locations in the U.S. For information, click here.

Hy-Vee:  Annual free Veterans Day breakfasts for veterans and active-duty military at 240 Hy-Vee stores on Veterans Day.  Some stores have planned programs, displays, entertainment or activities to go along with the breakfast.  Check your local Hy-Vee store for hours and event details.  It’s all part of the Hy-Vee Homefront initiative – for details, click here.

Olive Garden: Free entrée to active-duty military and military veterans, from a special menu featuring six of Olive Garden’s most popular items plus unlimited homemade soup or garden fresh salad and warm, garlic breadsticks. On the Border:  Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free meal from the “Create Your Own Combo menu” on November  11.
