The Festival of Trees is set for November 19 - 29 at the Rivercenter in Davenport, Iowa.
In preparation for the annual event, apprentices at the Carpenter Training Center of the Quad Cities were building the bases for the trees. At the same time, they're building their carpentry skills.
The festival has been going on for 30 years. On Saturday, November 21, the Festival of Trees Holiday Parade will route through Davenport's Downtown.
