Mayoral races in Camanche, Clinton, and Goose Lake were contested.

According to unofficial results, voters in Camanche elected Trevor Willis as their new mayor over incumbent Kenneth A. Fahlbeck.  Fahlbeck got about 48% of the vote while Willis got about 51%.  Willis was serving on the council.

In Clinton, Mayor Mark S. Vulich received more votes than other candidates as he ran to retain his seat.  The position was contested by Jennifer Graf and Edward F. O'Neill. Vulich has been mayor since 2012; although he appeared to have won with 40% of the vote, there will be a runoff election because no candidate met the county's criteria to declare a clear winner.  Unofficial results from the county indicated, "Unofficially a candidate for Mayor needed at least 1,586 votes to win.  No candidate achieved that threshold.  According to unofficial totals, candidates Graf and Vulich will appear on the ballot for a runoff election on December 1, 2015."

As for Goose Lake, voters elected Adam J. Huling as their mayor. Huling won with about 64% of the vote over Christina Schneider.

Mayoral candidates ran uncontested in Calamus, Charlotte, Delmar, DeWitt, Grand Mound, Lost Nation, Low Moore, Welton, and Wheatland.
