The company confirmed the store at 11200 140th Street Place, in Davenport, is one of the locations where skimming devices were discovered. The Davenport location was believed to be impacted between October 15 and October 21, 2015; and customers who used any debit, credit or other payment card during that time, at that store’s gas pumps, should closely monitor their accounts.
Six stores in Nebraska were also compromised, according to a statement from Casey’s General Stores. Customers who used cards at fuel pumps between October 2 and October 10 at those Nebraska locations – in Grand Island, Wood River, Kearney, York, Omaha and Waverly – were also told to monitor their accounts.
“(I)t is currently undetermined if any credit card information has been compromised,” the statement said. “Customers should promptly contact their financial institutions if they see any unauthorized activity.”
Casey’s customers with other questions can call 866-408-4551 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Central time, Monday through Friday, for more information.
