Police seek alleged burglars who broke into Joy, Illinois restaurant

Police are looking for two people who reportedly broke into a Joy, Illinois restaurant and stole money and alcohol.

According to the Mercer County Crime Stoppers, the Boone Docks Restaurant and Bar was broken into early in the morning on Friday, October 23, 2015.  Two people stole alcohol, money, and a donation jar for the local animal shelter.

“The suspects also entered the video gaming machines on the property,” according to the Crime Stoppers’ statement.

If you have any information about this burglary, you are asked to call the Mercer County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-582-2762, or 309-582-3500.  Information leading to an arrest can be rewarded up to $1,000.
