Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders brings some big name stars from the music world to help boost his campaign to the Quad Cities.

It's not a typical rally for a Presidential candidate, but supporters for Sen. Sanders will do what it takes to see their choice as a nominee.

"I had never gotten interested in campaigning or anything, but I jumped at the first chance to do that. I`ve never done it before. Nobody`s ever excited me like Bernie does," Sanders supporter Marilyn Kean said.

"I honestly enjoy how blunt he is about the issues and how he`s not afraid to say no, this is the problem and this is how we`re going to fix them. He`s got some great ideas to go ahead and move us forward," Sanders supporter Cynthia Safford said.

Getting inside, the lead-in to Sen. Sanders is a list of performances from musicians from across the country, all supporting his push to the White House.

The artists don't let the audience forget why they are there, but can the music get in the way of some of the campaign messages?

"No, this is something that people are going to remember. If you remember the event, you`re going to remember what he said and that`s going to help him move forward," Safford said.

Others would prefer to get more time to hear from Sanders himself.

"So, that`s ok. I`m pretty sure the minute he`s done talking, I`m done, too," Kean said.

However they stand on the presentation, these fans of Sen. Sanders plan to help keep his momentum going.

It'll be a huge day for all three Democratic Presidential candidates on Saturday for the Jefferson-Jackson Fundraiser Dinner in Des Moines.

The Iowa Democratic Party says the event is almost sold out and people are now being added to a waiting list.
