One skilled Augustana College freshman won $500 at the Midnight Madness event.
At the event surrounding the 12 o'clock start of the basketball season Sunday, October 18, 2105, organizers played some games with the crowd.
Organizers called a random number, and whoever held that number had one minute to make a layup, a free throw, a 3-point shot, and a half-court shot. That lucky student, James Manuel, made all four shots in just 26 seconds.
