The sun goes down for a Friday of football. A chill is in the air, a preview of a cold that's just around the corner.
There are people who call this the perfect time of year, and they embrace the cold.
"It's mandatory. We have a girl in the drum corps. It's football weather," says Amy and Bruce Hunt.
For others, they would rather see summer stick around just a little bit longer.
"I like the previous weeks. It's getting a little cold," parent Michelle Jault said.
A cold football game can offer good examples for how to manage the cooler temperatures.
A warm coat and a hat can go a long way. Grabbing a hot chocolate can really hit the spot, and they're a big-ticket item at football games.
"We've sold probably 100. We really have, between the two games," volunteer Belinda Bertelli said.
The cold doesn't have to mean the end of the fun, especially when that fun is at Friday night football.
