Original post --

A man has been reported missing from the Bellevue, Iowa area, north of the Quad Cities.

David Charles Lippstock, age 61, was last seen on Monday afternoon, October 12, 2015, according to a statement from Chief Deputy Steve Schroeder.  Lippstock was reported missing the next day.  Schroeder said he was recently discharged from the hospital for a medical condition.

Schroeder said Lippstock left his home without his billfold, credit cards, or cell phone. He was believed to be on foot.

Lippstock was described as having a reddish-colored egg shaped birthmark in the center of his back as well as a disfigured fingernail on the ring finger of his right hand, according to Schroeder.

"At this point in the investigation, no foul play is suspected," said Schroeder.
