An event for dog-lovers to enjoy with their furry friends was scheduled on a beautiful fall day.
Dogtoberfest was scheduled from 2 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Bier Stube in LeClaire, Iowa. Proceeds from the event will benefit Crow Creek Dog Park.
Kathy Behncke, head of the Crow Creek Dog Park Committee, said that the event helps make improvements at the park each year.
The first 150 attendees were guaranteed free doggie bags, but those didn't last long because Behncke said there were more than that many in the first 10 minutes.
A raffle and live auction were planned for the event. Food and drinks were available for purchase.
Admission is free.
