Windows damaged at two schools in Moline

The damage reportedly happened sometime between 6 p.m. Thursday, September 24 and 6:30 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2015.  Five windows were damaged in the newly-renovated Hamilton Elementary School at 700 32nd Avenue; and several windows were reportedly damaged in that same time frame at Seton Catholic Elementary School at 1320 16th Avenue, according to Moline Police Department Detective Scott Williams.

Damage to Hamilton Elementary was estimated at $4,000 according to officials from the Moline School District.

In an effort to find the person or people responsible for the damage, crime stoppers programs at Moline High School and at John Deere Middle School were posting flyers throughout their buildings.

Anyone with information about the damage should call Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities at 309-762-9500.  You can remain anonymous, and they offer a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
