It's prayer and politics all in one.

The 21st Annual Quad Cities Prayer Breakfast took place on Saturday, September 26th, 2015 at the RiverCenter in Davenport. This year's event featured Gospel Singer/Speaker Guy Penrod and 2016 Republican Presidential Candidate Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal.

"These are people that are very prominent, but they're going to be providing their testimony today, so that's going to be an encouragement to others and I think everyone who hears will benefit today," said Volunteer, Nate Acree.

Money raised at the Quad Cities Prayer Breakfast also benefits New Anthem, a Christian non-profit organization that "has brought or helped to bring approximately 800 Christian and charity events to the Quad Cities and surrounding region," said a press release.
