Animal-lovers walked in the annual Mutt Strut for the Quad City Animal Welfare Center.
The annual fundraiser was held Saturday, September 19, 2015, and pets and families gathered for a 1.5 mile walk on the Hennepin Canal Pathway. According to a statement from the welfare center, more than 250 people and dogs were expected to attend.
At the event, attendees got to enjoy games, bid on auctions, watch demonstrations, and have fellowship with other people and pets.
Since the nonprofit animal shelter runs solely on donations, the event is a signature fundraiser for the QCAWC.
