Sprint customers were experiencing disruption to their service Friday evening around 6 p.m.
Countless complaints were posted on Sprint’s Facebook page from customers asking why they could not send or receive calls or texts.
Representatives from Twitter’s customer service account, @SprintCare were working with customers asking about the service.
Sprint confirmed that some customers around the Chicago area were having issues with their service.
Shortly before 7 p.m., Sprint said service was restored to customers having disruption in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
