Is a “Burrito Supreme” not good enough for you anymore? Taco Bell is set to hop on the upscale Mexican train, set by Chipotle, Qdoba, and Moe’s Southwest Grill.
On September 22nd, a Taco Bell Cantina restaurant will open in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. The new restaurant will serve beer, wine, sangria, and frozen blended drinks with rum, vodka, or tequila. A second location will open in the coming month in San Francisco.
It remains to be seen whether Taco Bell will take a bite out of Chipotle with nearly 1,800 restaurants worldwide.
