Three arrested in connection with another shots fired call in Davenport

After police found a parked car that had been struck by a round, three people were arrested in connection with the incident.

Davenport Police were sent to investigate a disturbance and possible shots fired in the area of 28th and Brady Street just after midnight Thursday morning, September 10, 2015.  They arrived to find a parked car that had been hit by a round, according to Davenport Police Captain Brent Biggs.

"A vehicle, which was observed leaving the scene of the disturbance, was located by officers and a traffic stop was conducted," Biggs said.  The driver of that vehicle, 25-year-old Frantz Smith of Moline, Illinois, was arrested for allegedly eluding police and operating the vehicle while intoxicated.  Smith was also charged with interference with official acts.  The eluding charge is a felony.

The traffic stop also led police to a residence in the 1100 block of East Colorado, where they executed a search warrant and arrested two more people.

Jennifer Blair, 24, of Davenport, was charged with misdemeanor interference with official acts; 24-year-old Daniel Liendo, also of Davenport, was charged with misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia in connection with a marijuana pipe that police said they found in plain view at the residence.

Liendo and Blair were released after a $300 recognizance bond was posted for each of them.  Smith was released after a little more than eight hours in jail, in lieu of $5,000 bond.
