For ten years the father of a 16-year-old East Moline girl who was killed by two of her classmates, held an annual car wash in her memory.
The 10th Annual Adrianne Reynolds Memorial Car Wash was held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Silvis HyVee. Her father, Tony Reynolds said donations made at the car wash go to pay for students' GEDs at the Black Hawk Outreach Center as well as Arrowhead Ranch.
Tony said doing the car wash is a way to make something good come out of something bad.
"[It] just feels good and especially when all the people show up, been showing up for years, you know? It's pretty cool," he said.
Adrianne was killed in 2005. Classmates Sarah Kolb and Cory Gregory were convicted in the case.
