The headline says it all. We’re in for some serious heat! Officially in the Quad Cities, we’ve only seen the thermometers go to 94° once this Summer. By the looks of things, we could see three days next week of that kind of heat. In addition, this forecast is still out there on Day 6. There’s a lot of fine-tuning that could be done either to warm things closer to 100° or down closer to 90°.
No matter how you look at it, we’re in for a scorcher! The worst days for heat will be Wednesday through Friday. A few showers and thunderstorms could cool us off for Labor Day Weekend.
