Two Dixon, Illinois men are facing drug-related charges after police said they found cannabis and almost $11,000 cash in their home.

Two Dixon, Illinois men are facing drug-related charges after police said they found cannabis and almost $11,000 cash in their home.

On Thursday, August 20, 2015 police searched a home in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue as part of an ongoing drug investigation, according to a statement from Chief Danny Langloss with the Dixon Police Department. The Illinois State Police Blackhawk Area Task Force and the Dixon Police Department Street Crimes Unit conducted the search at 6:30 a.m.

Langloss said police found 100 grams of pot (.2 pounds) and nearly $11,000 in the home.

Two men who lived in the home, 23-year-old Craig O. Whites Jr. and 24-year-old Wesley H. Heniff were arrested, Langloss said. Both men were charged with unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver (30-500 grams) and unlawful possession of cannabis (30-500 grams).

Other arrests are pending, according to Dixon Police.
