Police said they were searching for a man that they say tried to steal an expensive barber chair in Moline, Illinois.

The chair was outside Makers and Riders, 2212 37th Street, when a surveillance camera captured images of a man hanging around outside the store August 13, 2015, according to information from Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities.

“He is at the scene for at least 20 minutes in broad daylight before he is scared off,” according to a Facebook post from Crime Stoppers.

During that time, the barber chair was “very badly damaged,” the post said.

The man was described as overweight, wearing bib overalls with a strap unfastened and a white towel around his neck.

If you can identify him, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
