Firefighters worked through a significant fire in downtown Galesburg, in the early morning hours August 21, 2015.
The fire broke out at The Burg Bar and Grill on Cherry Street between Main and Simmons Streets sometime after midnight. The business was formerly known as McGillicuddy's. The flames were extinguished by 6 a.m. but firefighters remained on scene trying to determine the cause.
There is no word on any injuries.
