Power was restored and lanes were reopened hours after a crash near Kimberly Road and Jersey Ridge Road overnight.
Around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2015, Sergeant Geoffrey Peiffer with the Davenport Police Department said northbound lanes of Jersey Ridge from Kimberly were closed and crews were repairing the utility poles.
Drivers were being asked to not try to drive through the area and to take a different route. The lanes reopened around 6 a.m., according to Sgt. Brandon Noonan.
MidAmerican Energy’s outage map confirmed that all customers had power later in the morning.
It was not clear who was involved in the crash, but Peiffer said they were still investigating.
