For a week, bicyclists rode through Iowa, headed toward the Mississippi River.

On Saturday, July 25, 2015 RAGBRAI riders made their way into Davenport, Iowa, anxious to dip their front tires in the river after a 481-mile trek.

Alan Sivell, who was on the ride, said the trip was long and pacing yourself takes some getting used to.

"The first day a lot of us charged out there and really hit it hard," Sivell said, "and then on Monday and Tuesday you really feel that."

Another rider, Lane Sladky said RAGBRAI 2015 was "quite an adventure."  He said he made the journey with his dad and aunt.

"It's starting to become a tradition now," he said. "It's something we want to do for a lot more years to come."

RAGBRAI started Sunday, July 19 in Sioux City.  Click here to see the full route riders took.

If riders weren't too tired, there was plenty happening at the Street Fest Saturday. You can find the entire schedule of events here. The Street Fest was set to last until midnight.
