Family of missing Davenport man posts $5,000 reward

A $5,000 reward for information has been posted regarding a missing 56-year-old Davenport, Iowa man.

The family of a missing 56-year-old Davenport man has posted a $5,000 reward for information that results in finding him.

Jim Terhune was reportedly last seen around 4 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 when he left the group home where he lives on 55th Street near Division Street.  According to the reward flyer, Jim had gone to get ice cream from the ice cream truck but did not return.

Jim is severely diabetic and suffered a traumatic brain injury as a child, according to the Quad Cities Missing Persons Network’s Facebook page.

Jim was last seen wearing teal shorts, a black Iowa Hawkeyes t-shirt and white New Balance tennis shoes with bright orange shoelaces.  He is described as having a medium build, standing 5-feet, 11-inches tall, and weighing 192 pounds.  He has brown eyes and grey hair, but is mostly bald.

Davenport Police confirmed Jim has been reported missing.  Police and another post to the Missing Persons Network Facebook thread shared a more-recent photo of Terhune along with information about his disappearance.
