After an uncertain Pro-Am Day, three-time champ Steve Stricker looked a little more comfortable at the end of Day 1 at the John Deere Classic.

Stricker had  a great start on the first nine; he stuck it close to the hole on 16 and drilled the six-footer for birdie.

Stricker was four-under after just seven holes.

After a pair of bogeys, he bounced back on 1 with a beautiful 11-foot putt.
