Woman struck and killed by RV driven by her husband at Flying J in Davenport

Mary LeMay, age 74 of Centerville, Tennessee, died when she was struck by an RV operated by her husband at the Flying J in Davenport.

UPDATE as of Sunday, July 5th, 2015 at 7:09pm: The pedestrian in the accident has been identified.

Police say the woman is Mary LeMay, age 74 of Centerville, Tennessee. According to an emailed update from the Davenport Police Department, "she was standing outside of the RV guiding the driver (her husband) into a parking space at the time of the accident."

There are no charges pending at this time.

EARLIER STORY:

One person is dead after an RV struck a pedestrian.

According to Davenport Police, an RV from Tennessee hit the pedestrian, a gas pump, and two vehicles at the Flying J Truck Stop, 8200 Northwest Boulevard, just after noon on Saturday, July 4th, 2015.

Investigators say the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Nobody else was hurt. The driver of the RV was taken to the hospital for a "medical evaluation," according to a press release.

The name of the pedestrian is not being released at this time, but Davenport Police confirmed Sunday that the pedestrian was a female.
