Police think the same man has been breaking into local taverns to steal money from video gaming machines and cash registers.

Surveillance cameras captured images of some of the break-ins which happened in December 2014.  Since then, a man broke through a small window to get into Hey Bryan's tavern in Moline in March 2015; and into Jimbo's Knucklehead Saloon in East Moline in June 2015.  In both cases, the suspect wore a grey hooded sweatshirt, baseball cap and jeans.

The Peacock Tap in Port Byron, Illinois; the Village Pub in Milan, Illinois; and the White Horse Inn in Moline were all burglarized in the same way, according to a statement from Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities.

In all of the cases, video gaming machines and cash registers were apparently targeted.

Now, investigators hope someone will recognize surveillance images of the suspect, so he can be identified and captured.  Crime Stoppers was offering up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
