Vineyard Church of Davenport held its yearly $1 car wash and lunch. But, instead of the customers paying $1, the church volunteers paid them.
According to Kaleb Faison, who helped with the event, the customers were surprised when they learned that instead of paying a dollar, they were receiving one. Around 100 people turned out for the event.
In addition to the car wash and lunch, Fiason said church volunteers get out into the community to do other things like help clean up trash and work with King’s Harvest.
