The John Deere Classic is a huge undertaking, and the 1,500 volunteers who make it happen were recognized at a breakfast that officially launched events leading up to the tournament.
Their hard work and determination make the annual professional golf tournament a success for players, fans and for the Quad Cities.
The annual kick-off breakfast is hosted by the Quad Cities Chamber and it is sponsored by WQAD News 8.
