Organizers are celebrating a record turnout at a race that helps children in the Quad Cities.

The 4th Annual Royal Ball Run took place on Saturday, June 20th, 2015 in Milan, Illinois.

More than 750 runners participated, making it the biggest Royal Ball Run yet.

Organizers say 1 in 68 children are diagnosed with Autism. The walk and 5K helps provide resources for those kids and their families.

"We can help connect families by funding programs here locally and supporting those children that have a diagnosis on the spectrum," said Jennifer Hartmann.

This year, money raised at the Royal Ball Run will help pay for scholarships for those who need speech and language therapy.
