Three men reportedly demanded money and drugs when they broke into a home in Burlington, Iowa.

The home invasion was reported just before 1 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2015, at a home in the 1600 block of South Street, according to Burlington Police Lt. Jeff Klein.

“The victims report that their residence was entered by three black males demanding money and drugs,” Klein said.  When the victims told the intruders they had no money or drugs, they were tied up and left inside the home.

“A female victim was able to free herself of the bindings and contact police,” Klein said.

No serious injuries were reported, and there was no indication of an arrest made yet in the case.
