The Happy Joe’s Kids Foundation planned its Annual Golf Event Sunday, June 14, 2015. Although rain forced them to move locations, it was still game on!
The event was set to begin at 1:15 p.m. at Fyre Lake in Sherrard. The event was originally located at Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley.
Other events were planned for those who wanted to stay indoors, including target practice and lessons at Shooting Sports in Moline as well as bowling and laser tag at QC Family Entertainment in Moline.
Despite the golf course location, the 7 p.m. meal was still on at Happy Joe’s PIZZAGRILLE in Milan.
The event was set up to support Happy Joe’s Kids Foundation, while families enjoyed a round of golf. The foundation was created in 2012 in celebration of Happy Joe’s 40th anniversary.
