Kids had a chance to check out the new Discovery Zone at the John Deere Pavilion in Moline, Illinois.
The activity center was unveiled Thursday, June 11, 2015 and introduced eight exhibits that were designed for kids of all ages. The hands-on activities are geared toward helping kids learn about John Deere: where it came from, what they do now, and how the equipment works.
The exhibits also encourage free play.
“I hope that when they come here they’re learning, they’re excited about what they’re doing, and really when I look at these kids’ faces, I’m hoping I see future John Deere engineers,” said Brigitte Tapscott, manager of the John Deere Pavilion.
Tapscott previously said in a statement that the new exhibits were also designed to get parents involved in their kids’ play and learning.
