A business in the Village of East Davenport that was damaged in a fire has reopened partway.

A business in the Village of East Davenport that was damaged in a fire has reopened partway.

On Mother’s Day, pet bakery and boutique Freddy’s Fritters caught fire, forcing it to close. On Saturday, June 6, 2015, almost a month after the fire, the business reopened its grooming portion.

Freddy’s Fritters opened  for grooming at a temporary location on 11th Street in Davenport.

The business is being rebuilt in its same location at Jersey Ridge and 11th Street, and is expected to be complete in August.
