Throwback to summer of 1999, area kids were at John O'Donnell Stadium learning a few things about America's favorite pastime.
In a report by News 8's John David, he explored the benefits to a baseball camp offered in June of 1999. Kids were learning the fundamentals and taking some sportsmanship lessons along with them.
The kids got to work with pro athletes and the adults got to pass along the love of baseball to the next generation.
Perhaps those same kids are paying it forward, teaching the next generation those same lessons.
