Spirit Airlines reportedly said a flight attendant posing for photos outside one of their planes, was against their company policy.
Passengers complained about seeing 41-year-old Ericka Diehl, from Gurnee, Illinois, posing for pre-flight pics on the tarmac in from of one of the engines and in front of the turbine blades, at O’Hare Airport, according to ABC7 in Chicago.
“(T)he activity portrayed in the photo absolutely goes against Spirit policy,” said a Spirit Airlines executive quoted in the report. The incident was under investigation, according to a spokesman for the airline.
Diehl reportedly posted the photos on Facebook, commenting that she thought they could probably get her fired, before taking the photos – and eventually her Facebook page – down altogether, the report said.
