Moline Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man who they say committed an armed robbery.

A man, believed to be in his 40s or 50s, committed the robbery at a Moline business on Monday, April 27, 2015, according to a statement from Det. Scott Williams. Surveillance video snapshots show that this happened around 6:15 p.m.

Police said the man is described as black, standing somewhere between 5-foot , 7-inches and 5-foot 10-inches tall, and weighing around 150-175 pounds.

On the day of the robbery, the man was wearing a black jacket with skulls on both sides of the chest as well as a baseball cap with writing on the front and back, Williams said.

He was believed to have arrived and left in a Ford F-150 pick-up truck from the 80s or early 90s; police said the armed robbery suspect was not the driver.

The truck was described as being a light brown color, two-wheel drive regular cab with an 8-foot bed. The pick-up had “beauty ring” rims, running boards that spanned to each wheel well. The wheel wells were rusted over, and the truck had no tailgate.

If you recognize the man in the photos or the description of the vehicle, you are asked to call Moline Police at 309-797-0401. You can also call Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities at 309-762-9500.
