United Township High School’s Symphonic Concert band was awarded top honors at a state competition.
The Super-State Band Festival was by invite-only and the top 11 bands in the state were asked to compete Saturday, May 9, 2015. These United Township musicians competed in Class AAA.
Band director David Maccabee has been leading this band for 29 years. This was Maccabee’s first win as the director of this band.
