A body was reportedly pulled from the Mississippi River near Schwiebert Park in Rock Island, Illinois.
A passerby reported seeing a body in the water at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015, according to Rock Island County Coroner Brian Gustafson. Firefighters pulled the body from the water.
The body was that of a white man, Gustafson said. Police later confirmed the body was that of a 37-year-old man, whose identity was not yet released.

Investigators remained there until just before 2:30 p.m.
