One person died after being shot multiple times inside a Burlington, Iowa home.
Police were called to the 1200 block of Jefferson Street at 1:23 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015, according to Lt. Jeff Klein with the Burlington Police Department. One person who had been shot "multiple times" inside a house was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Klein confirmed that a suspect was seen fleeing the area and that police were working to identify that person.
Police were working with multiple witnesses and the Iowa DCI on their investigation.
