Twenty-one-year-old Jordan Spieth won the Masters golf tournament Sunday, April 12, 2015 finishing the tournament’s four rounds 18 strokes under par and four strokes ahead of Phil Mickelson and Justin Rose, who were tied for second place.
Spieth was making history right off the bat. While competing at the Augusta National, Spieth played the lowest first 36 holes in Masters history. Spieth finished his first round at 64 on Thursday, April 9, 2015. He then finished his second round with a 6-under 66. Click here to see his stats from the Augusta National.
On Sunday, John Deere Classic Tournament Director Claire Peterson said that Spieth will return to the 2015 John Deere Classic. Tournament week starts July 6, 2015.
