With a goal of raising $50,000 for childhood cancer research, dozens of people had their heads shaved for St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

The hair-flying event took place in Davenport, Iowa at Modern Woodmen Park on Sunday, March 29, 2015.

At St. Baldrick’s signature head-shaving events, volunteers collect pledges and then shave their heads as camaraderie with those children fighting cancer.

According to their website, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation has funded more than $154 million in grants, which is the most of any other organization other than the U.S. government.
