A report of shots fired in Davenport, Iowa, led to a chase and ended with three people being arrested.

According to a spokesperson from the Davenport Police Department, a citizen said shots were fired at a house in the 700 block of West 14th Street around 4 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2015.  Police said the three suspects were reportedly on the porch of a house in that area.

"All of a sudden I hear something go, 'pow, pow, pow,'" said a witness at the scene of the shooting. "They shot back again and then they took off running."

"I heard three shots, and I was sitting on the couch watching TV and I just ducked, that was my first instinct," said another witness.

A Davenport officer reportedly saw a nearby vehicle travel at a fast speed and run a stop sign; the vehicle fled when police tried to stop it according to a spokesman for the Davenport Police Department.

Police pursued the vehicle north on Brady Street, and the chase ended at the Shell gas station at West 65th Street and Welcome Way.  Three men allegedly ran but were captured after a short foot pursuit.  Police said a gun was found where the pursuit ended.

Hosa Howard, 23, was charged with driving while suspended, no insurance, leaving the scene of an accident, felony eluding, interference with injury, and running a stop sign, jail records showed.  Kevonte Kirk, 20, was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and felony interference with a firearm.  Olajuwan Culbreath, 19, was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, reckless use of a firearm, and interference with injury.  Jail records showed all three men were released after posting $5,000 bond apiece.
