It's no secret that the Quad Cities has a great St. Patrick's Day celebration. But Davenport (and the Quad Cities) is ranking high on a new list of cities around the country to celebrate the holiday.
According to the blog "Niche," Davenport ranks 3rd, just behind Pittsburgh and Boston. To qualify for the top-ten list, cities must have a population above 100,000 and were determined based on access to bars, Facebook hype, percent of the population being Irish, and the year that city's parade was established.
Since we beat Chicago this year, we're wondering how much dye it would take to turn the Mississippi River green.
