With 60s in the forecast for the first time in over 100 days, it’s time to think about spending more time outside. Of course, the BBQ grills will need to be dusted off and fired up. But it’s not just about spending time in your back yard, for me this is the beginning of “Exploring Season!”
In the past nine months, I have visited every county in the WQAD viewing area. Right off the bat, I stumbled upon some pretty great places and met some wonderful people. I’ve driven to all of the towns that stick out on the map. But now I’m looking for the less-obvious places to travel to. I would love to know some of your favorite out-of-the-way roads to drive down. And which of those tight-knit small towns should I stop for a Coke or a burger?
