What’s happening:

C.A.S.I. Run –  Located downtown Davenport, three separate race events will take place in the morning before the parade Saturday, March 14.

The 1/4 mile Tot Trot starts at 9 a.m., the 1-mile Family Fun Run/Walk is at 9:30 a.m. and the 5k race starts at 10 a.m.  Click here for registration and event information.  Packet pickup is Friday from noon – 6:30 p.m. and before the races on race day.

Kelly’s Irish Pub Party – Three days of festivities kick-off Friday at 5:30 p.m. with Irish dancers and live music. Throughout the weekend the party features Skydiving Leprechauns, live music, drink specials, a brunch, and other events inside a 12,000 sq. ft. heated tent.

A shuttle service will be offered Saturday to help patrons get home safely.

St. Pat’s Day Parade – The Grand Parade XXX covers two miles over two states beginning at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at 4th Avenue and 23rd Street in Rock Island. The parade winds through the downtown to cross Centennial Bridge. The route then makes its way into Davenport.

Some streets will be closed to traffic Saturday morning for the St. Patrick’s Day race and parade.  A portion of Main Street at 2nd Street in Davenport closes at 5 a.m. Saturday for race staging, and 3rd Street in the downtown area remains closed for the race until 1 a.m.

The parade route map below shows which Davenport streets will be closed throughout the morning.

How to get around:

The Loop will be running Saturday, March 14 for those who need transportation during their St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Starting at 3 p.m., the Loop will run its regular route. Service ends at 3:30 a.m. with the last stop in Bettendorf.  Four buses will be in circulation: two traveling clockwise and two traveling counter-clockwise.
