Investigators say fire at an abandoned house in Galesburg, Illinois was suspicious.
The fire was reported at a home in the 800 block of Whiting Avenue just after midnight Tuesday, March 3, 2015.
“The residence was abandoned at the time of the blaze and the nature of the fire is considered suspicious,” said a statement issued March 5 by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.
Anyone with information about the fire was asked to contact the Knox County Sheriff’s Department, Knoxville Fire Department or Knox County Crime Stoppers.
