Walmart altercation over handicapped parking

A fight over a handicapped parking spot at a Walmart ended with one woman hospitalized and another arrested in Wisconsin.

Police said 32-year-old Kezia Perkins couldn’t make a tight turn to park in a handicapped space at the Walmart in Greenfield, Wisconsin. When she backed up, a 71-year-old woman drove an SUV into the handicapped spot.

Surveillance photos showed Parkins approach the SUV; when the 71-year-old woman got out, Perkins used her chest to knock the older woman to the ground, a witness told our sister station WITI. The older woman had recently had hip surgery; she reportedly suffered a fractured femur and needed a second hip replacement after the altercation, according to police.

Perkins was charged with aggravated battery.
