Dogs of all shapes and sizes are showing off their skills in the Quad Cities this weekend.
The Illowa Kennel Club is hosting the United Kennel Club Dog Show at the Bettendorf Community Center on Saturday, February 28th and Sunday, March 1st.
Dogs compete in several different obedience challenges in hopes of becoming "Best in Breed."
"Each breed has a breed standard where they have a certain height and certain coat and certain temperament and then the judge picks a dog that best meets that breed standard," said dog owner, Michele Duckett.
The top four performers of each breed receive a ribbon and the "Best in Breed" moves onto Sunday's "Best in Show" competition.
